Motorists Reminded of Railroad Work in Falls Creek

FALLS CREEK – PennDOT issues the following reminder for state Route 830: Drivers will encounter a road closure and a detour June 18 – 22, as crews from the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad perform railroad-crossing work in the town of Falls Creek.

SR 830 (Main Street) in Falls Creek will be closed at the railroad crossing near the Larkeytown Road intersection. The closure will be in effect fromJune 18 through June 22 as crews work to replace the existing crossing. This work is being done in coordination with PennDOT’s SR 830 roadway project. Traffic will be detoured as work takes place June 18 – 22. PennDOT’s official detour will use Routes 950, 322, 119 and 219. Detour signage will be in place. All work is weather dependent.
