CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation’s Amazing Race: Downtown Clearfield Challenge kicked off Friday morning with a full slate of teams.
Teams were given clues that pointed them in the direction of a downtown business. Once the team reaches that business, they will be given a challenge. The first team to reach all of the destinations or the team that reaches the most before time expires wins.
Main Street Manager Kellie Truman was happy with the turnout, and noted that the total number of teams had to be cut down from 10 to seven, to better accomodate business owners.
Businesses and entities that took part in this year’s challenge include: Zalno’s Jewerlers, Clearfield Borough, YMCA, Bob’s Army & Navy, Jim’s Sports Center, Sandee’s Candies and Gifts, Historica Plus, and The Angry Bean.
