CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation (CRC) received a founding contribution of $2,500 from First Commonwealth Bank for the year 2010. Representing First Commonwealth to present the $2,500 contribution was Leo Klebacha, Assistant VP, Business Banker and Dianne Litzinger, Clearfield Office Manager. Accepting the contribution was Kellie Truman, Main Street Manager of the CRC.

According to Truman, First Commonwealth’s continual contribution is vital to the life of the Main Street Program in Clearfield. For a community applying to be accepted into the Main Street Program, the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) requires a local match of contributions to fund the first 5 years.

“The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation is sincerely thankful for First Commonwealth’s contribution. This is the second year that they have been able to make a contribution to the CRC. With their help, it is possible for Clearfield to continue to be a Main Street community to revitalize our town. We are deeply appreciative and honored that First Commonwealth Bank supports our revitalization efforts and believes in the betterment of Clearfield,” said Truman.

“First Commonwealth is first and foremost a ‘hometown’ bank with a passion for our local communities and the people we serve throughout Western & Central PA. Sponsoring the Clearfield Revitalization efforts is just a good fit,” said Leo Klebacha representing First Commonwealth Bank. “We are proud to support this dynamic program and look forward to a long partnership with the CRC.”
