Falls Creek to See Road Closure and Detour as Part of Railroad Work

FALLS CREEK – Drivers will encounter a road closure and a detour later this month as crews from the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad work in the town of Falls Creek. State Route 830 (Main Street) in Falls Creek will be closed at the railroad crossing near the Larkeytown Road intersection.

The closure will be in effect from June 18 through June 22 as crews work to replace the existing crossing. This work is being done in coordination with the upcoming SR 830 roadway project. Traffic will be detoured around this closure. PennDOT’s official detour will use SRs 950 and 119 and US Routes 322 and 219. Detour signage will be in place.

All work is weather dependent.
