Flags at Half Staff in Honor of Those Who Served

HARRISBURG – Gov. Edward G. Rendell directed that all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags across the commonwealth should be flown at half staff from sunrise until noon on Monday, May 31, in observance of Memorial Day.

Memorial Day was established to honor those who have given their lives in service to the nation. State government offices will be closed for the observance.
