Police Report: Lawrence Township

– Police completed an investigation into an incident of simple assault that occurred last week at the high school.

– Police responded to a reported suspicious vehicle on Dairy Lane. Officers said two female juveniles reported that they were waiting for a friend. They said the juveniles’ parents were notified.

– Police arraigned a North Carolina man for public drunkenness charges.

– Police announced that Charles Road will be closed from West Pauline Drive to Rocky Bend on May 26th. They said the road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

– Police were called for a traffic violation, littering and disorderly conduct. They reported school bus students were reportedly throwing items from the window. Officers have advised the bus company of the incident.

– Police responded to two-vehicle accident, which occurred on Washington Avenue. Officers indicated a car was towed from the scene.

– Police assisted emergency medical services with a call related to a male who was possibly having psychological problems along Lawrence Avenue.

– Police were called to a Deacon Road residence for an unwanted person.

– Police responded to an incident of disorderly conduct in the Glen Richey area. Officers handled the matter at the scene.

– Police received a call about an incident of theft and disorderly conduct that occurred on Putty Road in Glen Richey.

– Police received a report about stolen money. Officers determined the incident was civil in nature.

– Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Police Department with a fight at Dingers Bar. All parties had left prior to police arrival.

– Police responded to a burglar alarm at Peebles Department Store. At arrival, officers found the building secure.
