CLEARFIELD – On Tuesday the Clearfield County Commissioners accepted the resignation of the county’s Emergency Management Agency director and appointed an acting director.
Last week it was reported that Josh Quigley was stepping down as director of Clearfield County EMA. In his letter, posted on the EMA’s Web site.
“We do want to thank Josh for his service,” said Commissioner Chair John Sobel. “It’s a very, very tough job. He’s handled it masterfully.”
Appointed as Acting Director was Dave McClure, formerly the EMA’s deputy director.
“Dave brings a great deal of knowledge and experience,” said Sobel.
He added, “Dave, good luck, and Josh, thank you very much.”
