- Police are investigating a theft that occurred at a camp along Dents Run Road in Benezette. Someone arrived at the camp and removed a padlock from a shed door and then removed three propane tanks, one set of horse shoes, one chainsaw, one shovel, one axe, one metal tool box filled with various woodworking tools, one ¼ inch socket set, one shepherds hook, and six ¼ inch metal rods. The amount of stolen property is estimated at $350.
- Police are asking anyone with information regarding a theft that occurred sometime between May 22 and May 24 at Northern Sons, Inc. in Kittaning to call them at 776-6136. The incident occurred as someone removed an unknown amount of diesel from a tank on the property. The person had to cut a padlock in order to enter the property.
- Police are investigating an incident of a bad check being written at the Corner Market and Deli in Kersey. A known man wrote a check to the market for $23.58 from and account that did not have sufficient funds to cover the amount.
