DuBois Residents Warned to Cut Grass

DUBOIS – City Manager, John “Herm” Suplizio stated at Monday night’s DuBois City Council meeting that after Wednesday anyone who has not cut their grass for the first time will have their grass cut for them by the city.

The city hired extra help for the summer who will be tasked with cutting the grass.  Residents are subject to a fine of no less than $50 and no more than $600.  Each day that passes is a separate violation.  Residents will also be charged the costs associated with filing the court costs.  Another penalty residents could face is a lien being put toward their home.

Grass is not to be any more than six inches high, as stated in the Code of Ordinance of the City of DuBois.
