Violet Elizabeth Rockoski, age 94, of South Eighth Street in DuBois, PA passed away on May 18, 2010 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
She was born on March 21, 1916 in Paradise, PA. She was the daughter of the late Amato and Maria (Corineldesi) Angeletti.
She was married to John Rockoski. He preceded her in death in 1972.
She was a homemaker.
Violet was a member of the Little Infant of Jesus Society at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Sykesville, PA and also a member of the Altar Society at St. Januarias Parish in Renton, PA.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Deter of Sykesville, PA and Cynthia Rosman of Inverness, Illinois, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, and 11 siblings.
Visitation will be held on May 24 from 10-11 a.m. at the St. Januarius Roman Catholic Church in Renton, PA. The Requiem Mass celebration will begin immediately following the visitation at 11 A.M. with Reverend Peter Pilarski presiding.
Burial will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery in Plum Borough, Pittsburgh, PA.
