The numbers at 1 a.m., with 9,140 out of 9,236 districts counted, put Sestak at 562,903 votes compared to Specter’s 480,627. Sestak will match up with Republican candidate Pat Toomey. He beat his Republic oppenent, Peg Luksik, by over 500,000 votes.
For the seat of Governor, it appears that Democrat Dan Onorato will face off against Republican Tom Corbett. Onorato beat his closest opponent, Jack Wagner, 458,565 to 246,539. Republican Tom Corbett beat his closest opponent, Sam Rohrer, by over 300,000 votes.
In the race for Lt. Gov. Scott Democrat Conklin narrowly beat his closest opponent Jonathan Saidel, 316,189 to 311,529. On the Republican side, Jim Cawly was ahead of his closest opponent, Chet Beiler, 209,181 to 163,737.
