Ann V. Tokash, Age 91, formerly of West Garfield Ave., DuBois, PA died on May 9, 2010 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on Dec. 15, 1918 in Aaroya, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Parsalek) Spinda.
On April 6, 1940 she married John “Jack” Tokash. He preceded her in death in Oct. 23, 1990.
She retired from the Penn Traffic Company after 16 years of service.
She was member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she sung in the choir and was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by 2 daughters (Mrs. Thomas (Patricia) Hasselman of St. Marys, PA, and Mrs. Robert (Deloris) Hofmann of Leola, PA) 2 brothers (John Spinda of Graceland, KY, and Steve Spinda of Worthington, KY) 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers (George and Michael Spinda) and 3 sisters (Florence Pullman, Margaret Bussoletti, and Josephine Perilla)
Visitation will be held on May 13 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
The rosary will be prayed on Thursday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. from the funeral home.
A scriptural wake service will be held on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. from the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 14 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
