DUBOIS – The delegates for the 111th Annual League of Cities Convention were nominated at Monday night’s city council meeting. Dianne Bernardo will attend for the city, with alternates being Mayor Gary Gilbert and City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio.
The convention is being held in Bethlehem, PA from June 23 to June 25. Keynote speakers include Richard Brandt, Eric Boles, and Lester Heitke. Brandt is the Director of Iococca Institute of International Affairs, Lehigh University. He will be speaking about “Leader vs. Manager – Visionary Leadership.”
Heitke is the National League of Cities second Vice President and the mayor of Willmar, MN.
Boles is the president of the Edge Learning Institute.
