- Police are investigating a theft that occurred at state Route 1012 on Shiloh Road in Bradford Township. Clearwater Construction, of Mercer, reported that someone took 30 gallons of off-road diesel fuel from an air compressor while it was parked at their construction site over the weekend. The theft is valued at $80.
- Police arrested a 22-year-old of Smithmill man in Irvona on April 22 after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Water Street. As a result the passenger was found to have a controlled substance in his possession. Charges are to be filed at District Court 46-3-04.
- Money was found at the DuBois Wal-Mart parking lot and turned into the PA State Police in Clearfield. Anyone who can identify what the money was in and the amount can claim it at the State Police station in Clearfield.
- Police reported a one-vehicle accident that occurred on the westbound lane of Interstate 80 at mile marker 123. Jerry E. Gearheart, 47 of DuBois, was driving a 1999 Mack TT in the left lane when he drifted off the roadway and into the center median. The truck went approximately 125 yards before coming to a stop facing south. Gearheart was wearing a seatbelt but was transported to Clearfield Hospital by Clearfield Emergency Medical Service for minor injuries. Assisting the police were BJW Fire Company and Bricen Towing.
- In accordance with Pennsylvania State Police Checkpoint Strikeforce II, Troop C will conduct a sobriety checkpoint within Clearfield County during May. The checkpoint will take place on roads that have high incidences of alcohol related crashes.
