- Police reported a driving under the influence charge that occurred along state Route 3040 from Sunnyside Hollow to the bottom of Sky Top Mountain.
- A traffic stop was initiated after police observed several violations. Upon further investigation they found a State College resident to be driving under the influence. He was placed under arrest and taken for blood testing. The results of the blood alcohol testing showed that he was over the legal limit. Formal charges for DUI and several summary traffic violations have been filed before Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair.
- Police reported an incident of harassment that occurred at a residence on Loveville Road in Halfmoon Township. A 58-year old man told police that a 46-year old woman came into his home and was yelling obscenities at him. Charges have been filed at Magistrate Dutchcot’s office.
- An incident of criminal mischief is being investigated after someone drove a vehicle on the soccer fields causing ruts and grass removal at the Cold Stream Project 70. Anyone with information is asked to call 342-3370.
- Police are investigating a reported incident of domestic violence between a boyfriend and girlfriend. A Port Matilda woman reportedly went to the home of a 45-year old Galitzen woman and began smashing a chair against the door and verbally threatening a 43-year old man at the residence. She smashed a window and then got into her car. She then began ramming her car into the cars of the man and woman. She left the residence but was later apprehended by Pennsylvania State Police in Philipsburg. Police found the woman to be intoxicated while driving the vehicle. She was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and harassment. She was arraigned in front of Judge Jordan and placed in Centre County Jail under a bail order of $5,000 straight.
