WOODLAND – State Police in Clearfield are investigating an abduction that took place in the Oakridge Church parking lot in the village of Oakridge in Knox Township.
The abduction took place between April 18 and April 20 between 8:00 p.m. and 1:20 a.m. A 35-year-old Coalport woman told police that on April 18 she was ordered out of her car while she was in the parking lot of the church. She was then taken to a location near the village of Olanta. She told police she was assaulted by a 40-year-old woman.
On April 19 she was moved to a location near Grampian in Penn Township. She was handcuffed to a rafter but managed to escape. She said she kicked one of the three kidnappers in the face and escaped. She was found in her vehicle at the intersection of state US Route 219 and Friendly Acres Road.
