Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday in Worth Township, Centre County. Troopers initiated a traffic stop after observing a 23-year-old State College man commit several traffic violations along state Route 3040. Further investigation revealed the man was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrested and transported for blood testing. Formal charges for DUI and several summary traffic offenses are currently pending blood test results. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
