Obituary Notice: Jill A. Churner

Jill A. Churner, age 36, of Philipsburg passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2010 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born March 19, 1974 she was the daughter of Frank Churner of Irvona and Patricia Churner of Philipsburg.

She was a 1992 graduate of the Glendale High School and worked for various collection agenvies in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania before returning to the Philipsburg area.

She was protestant by faith.

In addition to her parents she is survived by two half sisters, Lori Curtis and her husband Rod of Philipsburg and Lisa Churner of Morann; and five half brothers, Bob Churner and his wife Jackie of Bellflower, CA, Mike Churner and his wife Amy of Houtzdale, Tony Churner and his wife Pam of Indiana, Gary Williams and his wife Nancy of Altoona and Jim Williams of O’Fallon, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frank and Lula Churner, maternal grandparents James and Mary L. Gallaher and a half brother, Don Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at the Beezer Heath Funeral Home, 719 Spruce Street, Philipsburg with the Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating.

Burial will be held in the Stoneville Cemetery, West Decatur.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
