M. Joan Triponey, 72, of Curwensville, passed away on April 15, 2010 at her home.
Born Sept. 29, 1937 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Roy A. Boyle, Sr. and Evelyn (Duckett) Boyle.
Mrs. Triponey was a homemaker.
She was a member of Curwensville United Methodist Church and also a member of the Progressive Sunday School Class and the Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
She is survived by her husband, R. Dean Triponey of Curwensville, PA, whom she married on June 3, 1955; two children, Carrie J. Triponey of Curwensville and Vicky L. Triponey and her husband, Mike Meacham, of Bellefonte, PA. She is also survived by two sisters, Sherry Eggers of Clearfield and Maureen Allen of Rhode Island, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Triponey was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary J. Rhone, and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on April 19 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. James Gilliam officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday 6-9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the services.
