CLEARFIELD – After two-and-a-half years, the civil service police application has been approved to be sent forward.
Cindy Peterson, on behalf of the Civil Service Commission, presented council with the rules and regulations for approval. Peterson said they changed two redundant sentences into one on page eight. Peterson said the commission has been working on the application changes for two and a half years.
After a roll-call vote and approval, the application can now be advertised by the solicitor.
Council President James Leitzinger told the commission, “Thank you for your dedicated work for the past two-and-a-half years.”
