- An incident of retail theft occurred at the Woodward Pharmacy in Woodward Township. A man, who was described as being in his late teens, removed a bottle of cough medicine from the pharmacy without paying for it. He is believed to be about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, medium build, and wearing baggy clothing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the state police at 857-3800.
- A one-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 80 at mile marker 121.6. Shawn S. Bowser, 38 of Huntingdon, was traveling west on Interstate 80 when the left front steer tire blew, causing him to lose control of the 2000 Kenworth T-800 he was driving. Bowser traveled off the road and onto the south berm where he struck a culvert and overturned. The truck lost 23 tons of asphalt as a result of the accident. Bowser was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. State police were assisted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Folmar’s Towing, and the BJW Fire Company.
- While police were checking on a suspicious vehicle at JJ Powel along Presquisle Street in Chester Hill Borough they encountered a Philipsburg woman. After speaking to her they determined that she was under the influence of alcohol. She was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a legal blood draw. Charges will be filed pending the results of the blood test.
- Police responded to an incident of harassment at 111 Hudson Street in Philipsburg where they found a 19-year-old to have kicked and punched a 16-year old girl during an argument. She was cited for harassment.
