CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough Chief of Police Jeff Rhone had several items on his agenda to present to Clearfield Borough Council at their committees meetings Thursday evening.
One such item was requesting to change the Martin Street Alley, behind Sheetz, from School Avenue to Zimmerman Avenue be designated a “One Way” residential traffic only alley.
Rhone also proposed a signage change at the Market Street and Weaver Street intersection. Council member Jim Kling recommended a 60 day trial period for the change.
Rhone also requested the police hold an open house on May 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The proposed open house will be held during National Police Week. Rhone said they have not done the open house for a couple of years and would like to bring it back.
Also during the weekend of May 8 is the Central PA Outdoor and Sports Show, for which Rhone requested street closures in the driving park which would include Stadium Drive and Park drive. The closures would be from May 7 to May 9.
