- Police are investigating an attempted break-in early Wednesday morning. Pry marks were made on both the front and rear doors of a residence but no entry was made.

- Police were called to Sheetz on state Route 879 for a motor vehicle and private property accident. Dennis Medina purchased gas from Sheetz. As Medina was leaving, the brakes failed to work and he hit the retaining wall surrounding the dumpsters on the south side of the building. The driver was not injured but the Ford Explorer he was driving sustained severe front end damage. The retaining wall was also severely damaged, as well as a metal gate attached to the wall. A check of the driver and vehicle fielded no wants, warrants, or NCIC entry. The Explorer was towed by AJ Ross.

- Police received a complaint regarding the lights at the bridge, which is under construction, on US 322. The caller was referred to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
