Police reported an incident of retail theft at the Dollar General Store on Monday night in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A store employee observed a male take an eight pack of black, ankle style socks. He reportedly attempted to conceal them in his clothes. Troopers said the employee subsequently confronted the male who left the store a short time later. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370.
