CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced that a Fugitive of the Week has been captured.
Shaw Identified the Fugitive as Travis Scott Pollick, age 31, of Ridge Avenue, Curwensville.
Pollick was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on March 29. Shaw reported that Pollick was in custody within 24 hours of being placed on the list.
Shaw stated that Pollick was taken into custody on march 30 by Deputies from the Mifflin County Sheriff’s Office. Pollick was located at his place of employment in Mifflin County and arrested without incident.
Pollick was temporarily housed in the Mifflin County Jail and was returned to the Clearfield County Jail by Deputies from the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office.
Pollick is facing charges in Clearfield County of: 1) firearm ownership – providing false information, F3; and 2) unsworn falsification to authorities, M3. The charges relate to an incident where Pollick attempted to purchase a firearm after providing false information on an ATF Instant Check Form.
Shaw reported that Pollick’s capture was the result of anonymous tips received reporting the location of Pollick.
