- A Houtzdale man was arrested for a driving under the influence charge. He was pulled over on state Route 879 for a summary traffic violation when officers determined he had consumed alcohol. Police administered two field sobriety tests in which he failed. He was subsequently arrested and taken to the Pennsylvania State Police station in Clearfield where he was given a breath test. The results of the breathalyzer read .11%. Charges will be filed through District Court 46-3-02 in Clearfield.
- Police reported a traffic stop along Interstate 80 for a traffic violation that resulted in finding two illegal immigrants in the vehicle. They were turned over to Border Patrol.
- Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Graham Rd. in Woodland. Karen V. Valimont reported that someone damaged the horse fence on her property by cutting it with an unknown instrument.
