CLEARFIELD – Bridge preservation work will begin March 29, on two eastbound Interstate 80 bridges in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. All preservation work will be done underneath the eastbound I-80 bridges over state Route 1012 (Thompson Road) near mile-marker 125, south of the village of Dale. The bridgework will not affect traffic on I-80.

SR 1012 (Thompson Road) will be restricted to one 10 foot lane until the project is completed in late July of this year. A self-regulating stop sign will be placed on either end of the work zone. Motorists should be alert for the stop condition and obey posted speed limits at all times.

Clearwater Construction Company, Inc. of Mercer, PA is the contractor on this $380,000 job. The contractor will be working to repair the concrete sub-structures to extend the life of the bridges.

PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
