Annual Easter Bone Hunt Coming in April

CLEARFIELD – The annual Easter Bone Hunt for dogs, sponsored by the Mountain Laurel Kennel Club, is set for April 10 at the Clearfield Driving Park beginning at 1 p.m.
 
Photos will the Easter Bunny will be available by Rick Evans of Evans Photography.
 
Registration opens at 12:30 p.m. in the campground area behind the cattle barns. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than six feet and organizers ask for no flexi-leads, please.
 
Dogs and their handlers will hunt for plastic eggs filled with biscuits and, possibly, slips of paper that can be redeemed for prizes. There are four categories: small, medium, large and old or infirm dogs. There will also be a grand prize awarded.
 
Cost is $1 per nose with all proceeds earmarked for club service and education projects.
 
“The Easter Bone Hunt is a wonderful day out for people and their dogs. We invite everyone to join us for fun and to learn more about our club,” said MLKC President Denise Long.
