HOUTZDALE – A new detail has been released concerning the robbery at Woodward Pharmacy that occurred earlier this month.
According to state police in Clearfield, the suspect was witnessed leaving the scene in an older model sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Lumina, grey in color with dark tinted windows, a loud exhaust and a bungee cord holding down the hood. The vehicle traveled south on state Route 53.
According to a prior report, on March 18 someone entered the pharmacy through the front double glass doors. Once inside, the person walked up to the prescription drop-off window and demanded Oxycontin. The person received the drugs and fled the pharmacy through the same doors they entered.
The person was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a Pittsburgh Steelers emblem on the front and a large circular Steelers emblem on the back. The hood was over the person’s head, a camoflage handkerchief over their face, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
