Police reported an incident of retail theft at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 15-year-old Osceola Mills male allegedly placed numerous items into his backpack. Troopers indicated the items reached a total value of $16.45. They reported the male juvenile then attempted to leave without paying for the items. Charges have been filed through the district court.
