CLEARFIELD – Central Pennsylvania Community Action will be hosting an open house for a completely remodeled three bedroom home available for sale in Dubois. If you are tired of renting and interested in owning your own home, this is a great opportunity for you! The home is available through the First Time Homebuyers Program and anyone that is interested in purchasing a home for the first time is encouraged to join us for this showing.
The open house will take place on March 27 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The house is located at 242 S. Brady St. in DuBois. The home has three-bedrooms, one-and-a-half bathrooms and is very affordable at $51,300. The property is newly remodeled with new wiring, windows, appliances, and looks brand new. It also has a new high efficiency gas furnace and electric water heater, which will lower heating costs. Interested persons are encouraged to stop by during this time; CPCA will have representatives available to answer any of your questions. No appointment is needed.
Now is the time to take advantage of low interest rates and the $5,000 tax credit available to first-time homebuyers through the end of April. CPCA also has tax credit and homebuyer counseling available at no cost to interested buyers.
