Police Reports: Philipsburg PSP

– Police reported theft of services that occurred sometime between 7:15 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Sunday in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A person(s) unlawfully obtained cable television services. The investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370.

– Police reported an incident of disorderly conduct at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School. Two, 15-year-old male juveniles engaged in a physical confrontation at the school. They suffered minor injuries as a result. The incident is still under investigation.

– Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between 12 p.m. Friday and 12:30 p.m. Monday in Rush Township, Clearfield County. Someone allegedly drove into a fence that surrounds the Houtzdale Municipal Water Authority. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370.

– Police reported theft from a motor vehicle that occurred at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Huston Township, Centre County. A known suspect removed the registration plate from a 40-year-old Port Matilda woman’s vehicle. The incident is still under investigation.

– Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime from 5 – 5:30 p.m. Monday in Halfmoon Township, Centre County. A person(s) caused damage to a community notice board and bike rack, which are located outside the Halfmoon Township building. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370.

– Police reported an incident of disorderly conduct at 6:35 p.m. Monday in Taylor Township, Centre County. Troopers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call at an Orvis Beckwith Road address.  During the investigation, a 38-year-old Port Matilda man who was intoxicated allegedly became hostile toward troopers and yelled obscene language. He also allegedly engaged in threatening, violent and tumultuous behavior. Charges will be filed through the district court.
