DUBOIS – On Feb. 6, 4-H members and volunteers leaders from both Clearfield & Jefferson counties took part in the 6th Annual 4-H Club Officer & Volunteer Leader training held at the Tri-County Church of God in DuBois.
4-H Extension Educators, Penn State University Extension Specialists & Faculty, and a local teacher helped facilitate workshops on a variety of topics including Selling your 4-H Project, Making it with Mixes – New 4-H Food Project, Introduction to 4-H Nature Projects, and a youth session on Parliamentary Procedure. In addition to the educational workshops offers, 4-H youth and adults helped create blankets, which were donated to local hospitals and Valentine’s Day greeting cards for local nursing home residents as part of a bi-county community service project.
