June M. Vay, age 82 of Duke Circle in Austintown, Ohio, formerly of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died on March 10 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
She was born on June 4, 1927 in Lansing, Michigan. She was the daughter of Alex and Susan (Fabian) Componation.
In 1954, she married Louis S. Vay. He preceded her in death in September of 2007.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Austintown, Ohio.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Vay of Austintown, OH and five brothers: Paul Componation of Gloucter, Virginia; Frank Componation of McCloud, Oklahoma; Edward Componation of Collegeville, Pennsylvania; Robert Componation of DuBois, Pennsylvania; and Donald Componation of Girard, Ohio.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Drzal.
Visitation will be held on March 14 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on March 15 at 10 a.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Fr. David Foradori officiating.
Burial will be held in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
