CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Borough Fire Department Fire Chief announced at Thursday night’s meeting that they were the recipients of a grant.
Mike Mayersky, fire chief, said it is a federal grant that will be used to equip the fire department. Mayersky said the department will be able to get a new gear washer, new gear, and hydrant connectors that will enable quicker connection time for the firemen.
James Leitzinger, borough council president, congratulated Mayersky for being awarded the grant.
