Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at 3:25 a.m. Sunday along Half Moon Street near its intersection with the Port Matilda Highway in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. The Philipsburg State Police received a call about a gray-colored Ford Explorer that was stuck in a snow bank at the previously mentioned location. At the trooper’s arrival, they made contact with a 41-year-old Philipsburg woman who was the vehicle’s operator in order to determine how it became stuck. They determined she was under the influence of alcohol. She was subsequently arrested for the same.
