CLEARFIELD – County residents aged 50 and older are invited to receive a free appraisal at the annual Antiques Sideshow at the Clearfield Center for Active Living.
“Bring your family heirloom, yard sale find, collectable, or antique to the Center to learn about it and its value,” said a press release issued by Debbie Liadis, CCAAA Director of Community Services.
For the fourth year running, she said that Pat Errigo will provide free valuations to the public for this Antiques Roadshow-type program.
It said Errigo is a member of the PA Auctioneers Association, the National Auctioneers Association, and the Mid-State Appraisers Association. It said he will be at the Center from 10 – 11:30 a.m. on March 11 to perform the appraisals.
It said the public is invited to bring one or two items of manageable size to be valued. It said items should not be too large for one person to carry.
It said the Center will be set up in audience-style seating so all may enjoy listening to the appraisals.
“It is not necessary to bring an item to enjoy the program,” the press release stated. It said there are no reservations needed for the program.
In addition, it said those interested in having lunch afterward at the Center are asked to call at least one day prior to the event to make a meal reservation.
Any Clearfield County individual 60 years of age or older may contribute to the cost of the meal on a donation basis. The cost to those under age 60 is $3, according to Liadis.
