Students Inducted Into German Honor Society

CLEARFIELD – On Feb. 22, 18 new members were inducted into Delta Epsilon Phi, the National German Honor Society sponsored by the Clearfield Area High School.  Requirements for membership include an A average in German, a B cumulative average in all other subjects, and a clean record of conduct.  Barbara Simpson is the advisor of the honor society and German teacher at the high school.

 Special Honors

At the recent induction ceremony for the National German Honor Society held at the Clearfield Area High school, sophomore student Jordan Williams received the “Award of Excellence” for maintaining the highest average in German and all other subjects.  Left to right in the photo are High School Principal Kevin Wallace, Jordan Williams, and Superintendent Dr. Richard Makin.
