Mary Gardner, age 86, of Osceola Mills passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
Born October 22, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Philip and Antoinette Abate.
She graduated from the former Osceola Mills High School and worked as a homemaker.
In 1942 she wed Asher J. Gardner who preceded her in death in 1998.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Garvey and her husband Robert of Chester Hill; four sons, Robert Gardner and his wife Cheryl of Pensacola, FL; John Gardner and his wife Judy of State College, Paul Gardner and his wife Karen of Houtzdale and Philip J. Gardner of Osceola Mills; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The public is invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills with the Rev. Father Robert Horgas officiating.
Burial will be held at the Immculate Conception Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
