Kenneth McClure Caldwell 95, of Sandusky, OH and formerly of Clearfield, passed away peacefully on Feb. 19 at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, OH.
He was born Aug. 12, 1914 in Clearfield, PA, the son of the late Roy and Alice (McClure) Caldwell. Ken was a graduate of the Clearfield Area High School, retired from Kurtz Brothers School Supplies, and was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army 75th division.
He is survived by his daughter Linda (Rod) Litz of Sandusky Ohio; two granddaughters Amy(Tim) Didion, of Sandusky and Nicole (Brian) Sabo, of Luckey, Ohio; and three great -grandchildren Tony, and Kasi Didion and Julia Sabo; a sister, Winifred Caldwell, of Clearfield, PA; and beloved family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Louise (Gearhart) Caldwell, whom he married in 1946; brothers, Herbert Caldwell and Merlin Caldwell (infancy).
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Feb. 24 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Dr. Randy Willis officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest memorial Park, Hyde, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Feb. 23 fro 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 p.m. until the hour of the services.
