Clearfield Borough Council asks for Police Officer’s Resignation

CLEARFIELD – On Thursday night Clearfield Borough Council asked for the resignation of one of the borough’s police officers.

The motion was made by council member Susan Reed, to request a resignation from Officer Tim O’Leary.  Another motion was made that O’Leary also turn in all equipment belonging to the police department.  Borough council members approved the motions.

O’Leary is a part-time member of the Clearfield Borough Police force.  He is also serving as the new chief of police in Decatur Township.
