Sandra Ellen Dennis, 51, of New Millport passed away on Feb. 14 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Jan. 29, 1959 in Pike Township, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of Wallace Sisco and Evelyn McConnell. She was the owner and operator of Dennis metals for 27 years. She had volunteered at Marion Manor personal Care Home and the Kellytown Union Church. She was Baptist by Faith.
On Sept. 30, 1978 she wed Nathaniel A. Dennis Sr. who survives along with her father of Pittsburgh, her mother and stepfather Bruce McConnell of Reynoldsville, 2 sons and a daughter. Nathaniel A. Dennis Jr. and his fiancée’ Jennifer Beatty and LynnAnn Huff and her husband Steven both of New Millport RD and Anthony C. Bass of Winburne.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Evelyn Dennis and her husband Stanley of Carnwath, Wally Sisco of Wyoming, Lawrence Sisco and Wanda Solomon and her husband Jim both of DuBois, and Jerrold Sisco of Luthersburg.
She was preceded in death a brother John Christopher Sisco
Services for Mrs. Dennis will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Feb. 21 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Robert Witherow officiating. Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, New Millport, RD.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Feb. 20 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services.
