Ralph J. Neff, 70, of Eden, Frenchville R.D. passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation Center of Curwensville.
Born on February 7, 1940, in Moshannon, PA he was the son of Ralph L. and Madilean (Collar) Neff.
Mr. Neff retired after 30 years from Rushton Mining and then retired from Clearfield Wal-Mart Distribution Center as supervisor of maintenance.
He was affiliated with the Clearfield Church of Christ.
Mr. Neff was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Neff is survived by his wife Donna (Bumbarger) Neff whom he married on January 14, 1960 in Clearfield at the Church of Christ, a daughter Robin K. Norris and her husband Chris of Pleasant Valley, a granddaughter Nicole K. Grace and her husband Steve of Clearfield, two sisters and a brother; Alberta Owens and her husband Joseph of Penfield, Helen Livergood and her husband Eugene of Eden, and Gary Neff and his wife Patty of Eden, and a number of nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Ruth Owens, a brother, Terry Neff and two half brothers Willis and Grant Neff.
Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. J. Robert Mellgard and Rev. Rodger J. Gorton co-officiating. Interment will be in the Eden Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the services. Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and the VFW Post #1785 Honor Guard.
