Hospital Avenue Project Update for Week of Feb. 15

 No traffic impacts expected

CLEARFIELD – The following information is an update for PennDOT’s Hospital Avenue/Dixon Avenue realignment project in DuBois for the week of February 15. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will continue with drainage work behind Dixon Avenue. Drainage pipe installation will also begin in the area of Hospital Avenue. No traffic impacts are expected.

The contractor will be installing erosion and sedimentation control devices throughout the project. No traffic impacts are expected.

The contractor will perform clearing and grubbing work and general site clean up throughout the project. No traffic impacts are expected.

PennDOT will issue regular updates on the project to detail traffic pattern changes and project work activity.

The overall project will re-align Hospital Avenue with Dixon Avenue, will also feature roadway widening, new traffic signals, and improved access to DRMC. The job is scheduled to run through late November of this year.

SET, Inc. of Lowellville, Ohio is the contractor on the $4.2 million project.
