Volunteers Needed for Children’s Aid Society Painting Project

CLEARFIELD – The Children’s Aid Society Child Care & Early Learning Center provides childcare and preschool programs for dozens of children each day. In an effort to make our Center more welcoming and engaging, we will be giving the inside a new look. CAS is seeking volunteers to help with a painting project on Feb. 20 and 27 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Volunteers will help with painting, prepping and cleanup. If you, or your community group, is looking for an opportunity to volunteer, please call 765-2686 ext 230 or email bonnief@childaid.org. Adults 17 and older only please.

This project is participating in the “Give A Day. Get A Disney Day.” Volunteer Program. Through this program if you volunteer your time, Disney will give you a free one-day Disney pass. For more information on the “Give A Day. Get A Disney Day” Volunteer Program visit DisneyParks.com.

The Children’s Aid Society is also seeking any donations to help with the Painting Project. If you would like to make donations such as bottled water, foods, painting supplies or other materials, please contact us at 765-2686 ext 230.

CAS would like to thank to decorator Katie Miknis, their dedicated staff, and volunteers like you we will be able to give our building, built in 1917, a much needed face lift. This year we are celebrating 120 years of serving families in Clearfield and surrounding areas.
