CLEARFIELD – Patricia Quick was approved by the Clearfield Borough Council to hold a position on the Hospital Authority for the borough at last night’s meeting.
There was a question as to whether or not she could serve on the hospital authority due to the fact that she currently resides in Curwensville. However, F. Cortez “Chip” Bell, solicitor for the borough stated that after researching the matter he found her to be able to assume the position. Quick still owns a residence in Clearfield, which will be a rental property, and therefore, is still a taxpaying citizen of the borough.
On the Zoning Hearing Board, council approved Linda Lewis to hold a voting seat while Christopher Stott will hold the alternate seat.
