HARRISBURG – Agriculture Secretary Russell C. Redding is encouraging visitors to the 2010 Pennsylvania Farm Show to stop by a special exhibit to record their thoughts and memories of the show past and present.
‘Voices of Farm Show’ sessions will be hosted by KJ Wagner in the Department of Agriculture booth in the Main Hall of the Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. The exhibit will be open from Saturday afternoon, Jan. 9, through Friday, Jan. 15.
“For nearly a century, the Pennsylvania Farm Show has been an important part of the fabric of our state,” Redding said. “As we look forward to the day when the state can celebrate 100 years of Farm Show, these voices will be an important historical record of what this unique event means to Pennsylvanians and our agriculture industry.”
Interviews from previous ‘Voices of Farm Show’ sessions are available online.
The Pennsylvania Farm Show runs Jan. 9-16 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free. Parking is $10. Visit the Web site for a detailed schedule.
