PHILIPSBURG – A two-vehicle accident in Philipsburg left one person with moderate injuries.
According to state police in Philipsburg the accident occurred on Sunday at 3:10 p.m. at the intersection of East Presqueisle Street and Railroad Street. Police said that Sandy Ridge resident Cory L. McCully failed to yield the right-of-way to Joan M. Cusick of Brisbin at a traffic signal. Police said that McCully pulled into Cusick’s path and collided with her vehicle in the intersection.
Police said that Cusick suffered moderate injuries. She was transported to Mt. Nittany Medical Center by MoValley Emergency Medical Services for the treatment of her injuries.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Hope and Reliance Fire Companies and by the Philipsburg Fire Police.
