CLEARFIELD – Phase II of the Lawrence Township Sewer Project is expected to begin in earnest next week.
The announcement came at the Lawrence Township Supervisors meeting on Tuesday evening. Chairman Bill Lawhead said that Maxwell Trucking and Excavating have been doing exploratory digging, but that the real work is expected to begin next week.
Maxwell’s bid came in for the project at $2,545,372.15. It was estimated that it would cost over $3 million.
The project will begin in Hyde then move to Susquehanna Terrace before the other targeted areas in the project.
