Volunteer Center Seeks Volunteers

CLEARFIELD – The Volunteer Center of Clearfield County, 103 North Front Street, Clearfield, is a coordinating clearinghouse linking those interested in volunteering with volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are matched with agencies and projects according to their skills, interests, and available time.

This is a current Volunteer opportunity.

H1N1 Mass Vaccination Clinic Volunteers:
These positions are for non-medical volunteers with a variety of functions. Volunteers are needed in Clearfield County to help the Clearfield County Emergency Management Office and the PA Department of Health mass H1N1 clinics. Clinics will be held in the Clearfield Area on Jan. 8 and 9, 2010.

Thirty non-medical volunteers to help in clerical positions are needed to help each day to provide administrative and logistics support including intake and registration. Maintenance, line management and supply clerks are also needed. These positions can be staffed by any volunteers age 18 years of age or older with the understanding that they will receive a short briefing prior to each shift on their roles and responsibilities.
